Board of Directors

Lauren Palmer has been in Charlotte since high school and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a Business Administration degree with a focus on marketing. She met her fellow East Meck Eagle husband after high school and went on to become a Clemson fan because of him. Lauren enjoyed several years of working in the corporate world as corporate event planner for Wells Fargo, assisting the Commercial Banking division with large scale team member events and intimate client gatherings. She left the bank when she had her first child, Caroline who is now 7. When she was 36 weeks pregnant with twins, her 3rd and 4th children, her second child Jennings who was 2 years old at that time was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He received a lifesaving bone marrow transplant from his big sister Caroline. Lauren is incredibly passionate about increasing the survival rate for pediatric acute myeloid leukemia as well as tangibly serving families facing a cancer diagnosis.  Lauren is currently a candidate for Woman of the Year with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as she seeks to be a long-term parent advocate for children suffering from acute leukemia and dealing with the aftereffects of its toxic treatments.

SERVE FAMILIES. LOVE KIDS. FIGHT CANCER.
