Jenny Ponstein

Jenny Ponstein is a Director in the National Compliance Office at Equitable, a financial services company. She has over 20 years of experience as an internal auditor, having worked in the audit departments at Equitable, ACN, Ernst & Young, and PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Charlotte, NC area.

Jenny has an accounting degree from Baker College in Michigan. She is a Certified Internal Auditor and earned the FINRA Series 7 & 24 licenses. She has been actively involved with the Charlotte Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) since 2005 and served on the IIA Board of Directors for six years.

Jenny’s introduction to Claire’s Army was through a wonderful colleague who has been a long-time supporter and partner of the organization. Since joining the Board of Directors, Jenny had the priceless opportunity to serve at several fundraising events for Claire’s Army including the beautiful annual Gala. She is excited to collaborate with the esteemed members of the Board to further the mission of Claire’s Army.

Jenny is married to her amazing and supportive husband, Phil, and they have two beautiful teenage daughters. Jenny and Phil have led numerous initiatives to teach financial wellness within their community at Life pointe Church in Fort Mill, SC. Over the past several years, they have been dedicated volunteers at their local Fort Mill Park and Recreation coaching both of their daughters’ volleyball teams for young females (3rd through 8th grades). Jenny loves vacationing with her family and friends, particularly cruises. She also enjoys playing card games and spending quality time with loved ones.
