Rebecca Brooks

Rebeca Brooks is a Certified Child Life Specialist and Child Life Internship Coodinator with Novant Health: Hemby Children’s Hospital. This is where she first met and grew to know Claire and her family. Rebecca attended East Carolina University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Child Develoment and Family Relations with a concentraion in Child Life. She completed a Child Life internship with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, focusing on pediatric emergency care and inpatient hematology/oncology. Rebecca is married to her high school sweetheart, Barrett and together they have a daughter, Ellison (3) and are expecting baby boy in March 2016. Rebecca also serves as the Programs and Events Alumni Advisor for Alpha Xi Delta sorority at East Carolina. She loves spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling, and watching college football.
